Trying to figure out what to buy that special
someone? Fall in love with vinyl again! There are
some great inexpensive turntables out there as
well as some fairly expensive new releases of your
favourite pressings. Don't want to worry about all
of the stereo receiver stuff and finding room on
your already crowded shelves? Most new turntables
have a line level output now so you can avoid
having to find a phono preamp and plug in your
choice of powered speakers for minimal trouble! If
even that's too much for you, buy yourself a
suitcase portable and party on!
So as we sit here streaming a video from our iMac in
the basement bedroom to the TV in our upstairs
living room it is clear that Apple TV is fantastic!
If you don't know how to make all of this stuff work
together you are missing some great features!
So his wife was looking at buying a sectional
because it was on special and the colour was perfect
for the living room, but she didn't think about how
much of an impact the walls of the room might have
on placement (it would have fit if you removed a
wall, but that was evidently far too much effort)...
Loving the new 70" TV in the office (for
demonstration and presentation purposes of course),
can't believe how cheap these things are getting...
NO EXCUSES!!!
